The Associated Press has released the rankings for Week 5. The poll remains the same for Palm Beach County schools with a bit of shuffling in the ranks. Dwyer and Glades Central remain ranked #2 in the Class 4A and 2A respectively.
Cardinal Newman moved up a notch to #4 in the Class 2B poll with an impressive win over Pine Crest in week 5. Jupiter Christian is undefeated and stays atop the 1B rankings. Other Palm Beach County schools garnering recognition Glades Day, Park Vista, Seminole Ridge and Kings Academy led by junior linebacker Gage Batten.
A few games to look out for this week include undefeated Park Vista vs. Atlantic, Benjamin vs. Kings Academy and Pahokee visiting American Heritage. These match ups along with several more in the coming weeks will have long lasting implications on district races throughout the county.
